Actress and media personality, Nana Ama McBrown says she has not stopped acting.
Speaking to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, the TV host mentioned that her acting career is still intact.
Explaining why she is not seen in a lot of movies recently, the host of Onua Showtime said that she now finds herself doing a lot of things in the media space, hence the reason she is not actively featuring in movies like she did some years ago.
According to her, she sees her new career path as not too different from acting because she still achieves her ultimate goal which is to entertain and educate people.
“I have not quit acting. It's just that I do a lot of things now and it's made the acting side go down a little bit. But what I do now is equally like acting.
“I entertain because that was the main motive when I was actively acting. I impact lives, I entertain you, and I bring you more educative programs. What I do on TV will still make you laugh,” she said.
Nana Ama McBrown also blamed her absence in the movie industry on how slow things have been in the Ghanaian movie industry.
She mentioned that the obvious decline in the movie industry in Ghana has contributed to her switch to other fields in which she is thriving.
“Things have slowed down in the acting space and I can’t wait for a producer to call me. I would say I’ve switched a little bit but when the roles come, I play along,” she concluded.
