This Thursday Hotline on the Super Morning Show brings to listeners JoyNews’ Seth Kwame Boateng’s award-winning documentary titled “I shake, I fall, I die – a documentary about the various misconceptions around epilepsy.
Epilepsy is a medical condition which often characterized by recurrent seizures. These seizures may present in several ways depending on the part of the brain involved and the person's age.
However, in many parts of the country epilepsy is considered a bad omen, a curse, a manifestation of the devil’s visit and overall an infectious disease.
In the documentary Seth Kwame Boateng speaks to epileptic people, the husband of an epileptic woman who defied the odds to take her for a wife.
The documentary also features doctors and experts who discuss in detail the main causes of the condition.
