President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday said his administration would continue to prove his skeptics wrong by delivering on the promises made in the 2012 general election campaigns.
He said: "while we are always trying to deliver on our promises, our opponents are always ready to say we cannot do anything and that is why we are going to deliver on our promise to prove all of them wrong."
President Mahama, who was addressing market women at the Kotokoruba Market in Cape coast as part of his two-day official visit to the Central Region, said his administration would not renege on its promises in the party's manifesto.
The market women are operating from a makeshift structure to enable the contractors to complete the Kotokoruba Market.
He appealed to the market women and other citizens of the Regional capital to disregard the negative propaganda that had been spewed out that the government would not be able to construct the market complex.
President Mahama visited the construction site of a new 15,000 capacity stadium in Cape Coast and gave the assurance that the government would complete all those projects before the next general election in 2016.
President Mahama had earlier visited and interacted with the chiefs and people of Anyamfuri and Dunkwa- On Offin and inaugurated a $ 10 million dollar Assin- Praso- Asante Bekwai 60 kilometre rehabilitated road.
He would also visit and interact with the chiefs and people of Elmina and Komenda, address students of the University of Cape Coast and and the University of Education in Winneba.
