Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso will not consider the many offers from other parts of Europe as he plans to stay at Villarreal to help the recently relegated club to return to Spanish La Liga.
Villarreal struggled for results last season and got relegated on the last day of the league following a 1-0 defeat to Athletico Madrid.
Offers are pouring in for the 21 year old after the club’s relegation but the former Ashanti Gold player wants to stay at Villarreal as he sees an opportunity to establish himself at the club for a quick return to the top flight.
“I will stay there and help them get back into the Primera Division. I still have two more years on my contract.”
“I just want to try the new season and see. If it doesn’t work out, then may be I will consider a move.”
The former Black Satellites joined Villarreal from Elche in 2011 and has made 17 appearances for them.
