Reports reaching Myjoyonline.com allege that some members of the Mr Alan Kyerematen's team are distributing money to potential delegates in the ongoing presidential primary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).Sheikh I.C. Quaye, a leading member of the party told Joy News that one Archibald and Kumi, a coordinator and agent respectively of Mr Kyerematen were accosted after they were seen sharing money in the Ayawaso Central constituency.Voting is underway in the election of a presidential candidate for the NPP in 228 out of 230 constituencies in the country. Only delegates in Ablekuma South and North in the Greater Accra Region are not voting in today’s historic primary of the biggest opposition party in Ghana.Sheikh Quaye, who is also the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central in the Greater Region said the behaviour of the two men is highly considered irregular by the party, especially at a time when a serious election is taking place.He said a nasty scene would have been created in the constituency had supporters of Nana Akufo-Addo not been restrained from reacting to such a “provocative” action by the "Alan men".However, the police were not around when the incident occurred, the MP said, but hoped the appropriate action would be taken against the two.Asked by Joy FM’s correspondent David Mepuri who would win the election, Sheikh I.C Quaye predicted victory for Nana Akufo-Addo, saying he is the best man to lead the NPP.David Mepuri reports that aside the above incident, turn-out at the Alajo Park in the Ayawaso Central constituency has been very impressive. About 494 people are expected to vote there.Meanwhile, NPP delegates have been warned to avoid going to polling centres wearing party paraphernalia.About 113,000 delegates are expected to cast their votes in the party’s first expanded delegates’ conference where election would be done simultaneously in all constituencies across the country.The presidential election is being keenly contested by five aspirant; Prof. Frimpong-Boateng, MP Isaac Osei, Rev.
