The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central and a leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sheikh I.C. Quaye has pointed accusing fingers at some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for a reported attack on his family house over the weekend.A group of people allegedly vandalized the MP’s family house at Alajo in Accra on Sunday.At a press conference in Accra on Monday, Sheikh I.C. Quaye accused some members of the NDC, including the assemblyman for the area of leading thugs to destroy his family house.Joy News’ correspondent, Kweku Botwe was at the press conference and reported that a number of structures which belonged to the MP’s brother and his grandfather were vandalized.According to Sheikh I.C. Qauye, he was at a meeting in his residence when he was informed that a group of people had broken into his Alajo family home and destroyed various properties.“In our absence some members of the NDC who have been identified as members of the NDC, led some thugs to my family house at Alajo and vandalized the family house and smashed the windscreens of two cars, the offices of Mohas, my brother, and then other family house all over at Alajo,”The MP said he called the police immediately he received information about the attack. He said eye witnesses have confirmed the identities of the individuals involved in the dastardly act and the police are carrying out further investigations on the case.Story by Derick Romeo Adogla/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
