Joy FM will transmit live, the International Central Gospel Church's Watch Night service, on December 31, 2007, from the Independence Square.
The Watch Night service of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) which was given live transmission on JOY FM has been successfully observed.
The service capped three days of an end-of-year gathering.
A notice on the church's website explained that the service was to recognise God's immense love and grace upon His children in the last year.
Several hundreds of people trooped to the Independence Square, Osu, to join hands in marking the ushering into the new year 2008.
The General Overseer of the church Pastor Mensa Otabil who led the service prayed for divine guidance upon the country and a renewal of the strength of the country’s workforce.
Some participants who spoke to JOY FM indicated that although the past year came with some setbacks they were poised for new discoveries in the months ahead.
