Ten policemen and five businessmen were on Friday put before a District Magistrate's Court in Sekondi for allegedly engaging in prohibited business relating to narcotic drugs. Their plea was not taken and the court remanded them to re-appear on June 14. The case for the prosecution was that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) had a tip-off that some police officers were escorting some dealers in cocaine to La Cote d'Ivoire and detailed the Western Regional Police Commander to track them down.
