Asante Kotoko will be without key defender Samuel Inkoom when they clash with arch rivals Hearts of Oak in the game of the season on Sunday. The Black Stars player is no longer a player of the Kumasi-based side as his transfer to Swiss side Basel was completed on Friday.Inkoom clinched the deal with the Uefa Champions League campaigners last month after impressing with the national team. But according to the agreement his International Transfer Certificate should reach the club by Friday’s deadline. This was after the Swiss side paid Kotoko the full US$700,000 as the transfer fee.Inkoom’s absence is blow for Kotoko as they seek to avenge the 2-1 defeat suffered at the hands of Hearts in the first Hearts round. But his absence is a boost for the Black Stars as he has joined the national team to train ahead of the World Cup match against Sudan next week. However, Harrison Afful will be available for Kotoko as he is yet to join the Black Stars who depart to Kenya for their training camp.Source: Ghanasoccernet.com
