Parliament has approved the nomination of Alhaji Isaaku Salia as Upper West Regional Minister.The president nominated him for consideration after Mahmoud Khalid was sacked in May.Alhaji Isaaku Salia was approved by consensus. He once chaired the Hajj Committee under the previous NDC government and was MP for Wa East from 1993 to 2004 when he lost to the incumbent NPP MP.Source: Myjoyonline.com/Joy News/Ghana
