Reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) 'Artiste of the Year' Diana Antwi-Hamilton says it is very important for artistes to show appreciation to other stakeholders in the industry.
This comes on the heels of an assertion Shatta Wale made on Facebook about Ghanaian artistes not appreciating DJs properly to enable them promote their songs effectively.
Reacting to this on the Daybreak Hitz Show with Andy Dosty on Tuesday, the 'W’asem' crooner said it is very important to show appreciation anytime you get help in the industry.
To her, it is very important to establish rapport with the people you work with and if someone is helping you, it is important to show appreciation in return for the work to go on effectively.
“….I think it is important. It is really important to establish great relationships with the people that work with us and if someone is helping you it is important that you appreciate them for the work to go on,” she said.
She cited the Citation she presented to the Multimedia Group as a way she and her team try to show appreciation for the constant support they have received over the years from the media company.

…..”We try. That is why we have done this presentation. Just a little token to say that for the work you have done for us, for the work you keep doing, we really do appreciate,” she said.
