Singer Efya Nocturnal has described as disheartening the misunderstandings and assumptions about her brand.
In a series of tweets on Monday, July 31, the “Best In Me” singer sought to clarify some pending issues ridiculing her efforts.
In the said tweets, the four-time VGMA Best Vocal Performer said she always strived to give the best in everything she did and her commitment to delivering quality music and unforgettable experiences remained unwavering.
“It is disheartening to be ridiculed based on misunderstandings and assumptions. I hope this thread provides clarity and sheds light on the intricacies of the music industry. Let us focus on celebrating each other's achievements rather than perpetuating unnecessary controversies,” a tweet reads.

Her Twitter posts were possibly a response to viral comments by artiste manager, Bulldog that Efya and R2Bees don’t share international stages with Nigerian artiste, Wizked despite being close friends with him.
“As an artist, I have a multifaceted career that encompasses my own music, projects, and obligations. While I value my friendship and artistic connection with Wizkid, I also have my own aspirations and commitments in the music industry. It is essential to strike a balance and prioritise professional growth and individual endeavours (sic).
