The winner of the NASCO Next Rated Act of the Year Award at the just ended 3Music Awards says branding is key in sustaining one's self in the music business.
Malcolm Nuna told Kojo Yankson on JoyNews' Super Morning Show Monday, that he is here to stay.
"It is not only about making the music as Kidi said. It’s also about building the brand," the 'Money Man' hitmaker stated.
He assured the Kumerican fan base that they [Kofi Jamar, Dead Peepol, Yaw Tog] will uplift the brand so high as long as they are doing music.
Malcolm Nuna added that even if fans don’t even hear from them for perhaps a month or two, the fans know they are still around until they release their next song.
Meanwhile, Frimpong Mark Agyin popularly known as Kofy Control of hip-hop duo Dead Peepol also reiterated the fact that the type of music they make, which is the Kumasi Drill is here to stay.
"As long as we’re doing music, we will try to do other kinds of music, But what we’re doing now [Kumasi Drill music genre], is going to be there forever, as long as we live," he said.
