The only independent candidate contesting the December general elections, Jacob Osei Yeboah has conceded defeat.
According to him, he is ready to congratulate any of the candidates who eventually wins the Presidential race.
“Let’s just be realistic. Looking at the figures coming out... and I think that must be the spirit of this election... anyone who emerges; if it’s one touch, I will come out and congratulate the person and then we move on as a nation.”
Speaking to Accra based Citi FM, Mr. Yeboah however stated that he is in no way surprised that he performed better than some of the smaller political parties indicating that “The most important thing is that, in most of these constituencies, I’m getting bits and pieces in almost all the constituencies.”
He advised the general public however, to have patience and “make sure that we don’t actually escalate unnecessary issues that will spark out any form of violence.”
