Former Ghana Football Association President Alhaji M.N.D Jawula has advised Ghana captain Stephen Appiah not to be "choosy" so he can sort out his club career quickly.
Appiah has failed to land deals in England and Russia and his club less status is increasingly becoming a source of worry for many Ghanaian football followers.
Jawula feels Appiah's situation should be a worry for every Ghanaian but says ultimately it is only Appiah who can end it.
"It is a really unfortunate situation because he is such a wonderful player," Jawula said.
"I don't know exactly what is going on with him but those who represent his interest must put him first and settle for something quickly. I hope he is not choosy because the bottom line is that he needs to be playing again and quickly too."
Jawula reckons Appiah can still do a good job for Ghana at home to Benin on March 29th but says beyond that he will need to be playing to get into the squad.
"When he has played in recent matches for Ghana he has been good so there is no reason to drop him yet. But the longer he stays inactive at club level, the bigger the problem becomes. I just hope it does not get to that."
