Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has become the first Ghanaian to hit one million likes on his Facebook page.
This means the actor, who is also a businessman and philanthropist, born John Matthew Kofi Setor Dumelo and operates under the brand name j.melo, is fast becoming a household name globally.
The award winning actor's Facebook page is mostly filled with daily religious messages, words of encouragement and several advertising messages which attract thousands of likes and comments.
The actor posted on his Facebook after hitting the one million mark that: "I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone for their support so far. I'm truly humbled by this and I couldnt have done it without you, my fans."
After achieving that feat, the actor is now targeting ten million likes: "The goal now is to reach the '10 million' mark in the next few years, together we can."
John Dumelo's Facebook page was created in 2008 and half a million of his likes are from Ghana, 300,000 from Nigeria and the rest are from the rest of Africa, the United States, Europe and the Caribbean.
