Fifty brilliant students of the University of Ghana Legon have benefitted from the benevolence of actor and politician, John Dumelo.
The NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency through his foundation paid in full the school fees of the students on Thursday, February 27, 2020.
Taking to Facebook to announce the benevolent gesture, he said that his foundation has been committed to such causes since 2012.
John Dumelo revealed that due to financial challenges, many of these students have had to defer their courses.
He added that these 50 students are not the only ones who will get support from the John Dumelo Foundation.
John Dumelo has become more outspoken about his benevolent gestures since announcing his aspiration to join Parliament.
He has on some occasions visited students of the university -- which falls within the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency -- with food, organised parties, joined cleanup exercises and played cards with some people in the constituency.
