Boxing coach Carl Lokko is optimistic about the potential benefits for Ghanaian featherweight contender John Laryea following his signing of a promotional contract with Fight Game Advisors.
The agreement, disclosed on Thursday, December 14, sees the unbeaten Laryea teaming up with boxing manager turned promoter Peter Kahn.
Having previously collaborated with former undisputed lightweight champion George Kambosos and clinched the 2022 Boxing Writers Association of America Manager of the Year Award, Kahn has transitioned into boxing promotion.
Laryea expressed his eagerness to pursue a world championship title following the deal, highlighting his determination. Kahn, on the other hand, voiced his enthusiasm for collaborating with a talented boxer like Laryea.
“With the building up of John Laryea to the world stage, having Peter Kahn coming on to join the great team we already have will make us much stronger," said Carl.
“With Peter onboard, John will have the opportunities to maximize his talents on the world stage.”
Laryea boasts an impressive record of 12 wins, a draw, and 10 knockouts in his undefeated streak spanning 13 professional bouts.
