Jordan Ayew scored his first hat-trick for Ghana as the Black Stars thumped South Korea 4-0 in the final warm up game ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Even as a substitute for injured Majeed Waris, the Socheax striker had his first shot deflected into the post before adding two goals late on in the second half.
Captain Asamoah Gyan continued his superb scoring form against the Asian side with a cheeky pass into the yawning net after running almost 10 yards.
It surely is a result that will buoy the confidence of the side ahead of Brazil 2014 which begins in the next two days.
The Stars looked casual in the opening embers of the game and when Majeed Warris fell to a cynical tackle the Stars became even more cautious and afraid to go into tackles.
It was the Asians who possessed the ball well in midfield but failed to penetrate a somewhat resolute defence.
In the 11th minute Gyan broke away on the left hand side of attack before teeing off Andre Dede who whipped in a cross at the edge of the 18 yard box.
Jordan Ayew in what was his first touch fired a bullet which took a wicked deflection of the Korean defence man before entering the yawning net.
The Koreans appeared determined to get the equaliser but a well struck shot took a ricochet of the post before a final clearance from John Boye. Fatau Dauda was completely beaten.
The former Ashgold goal keeper would later fluff his lines when he failed to handle a cross from the left. In a similar air ball situation, Fatau was beaten in the air but the connection which entered into the post was disallowed.
Gyan deepened the woes of the Asian side with a perfect solo in the 40 minute. The Ghana skipper benefitted from a lousy piece of defending by his marker and the Al Ain striker punished him with an incredible run and a perfect finish.
From recess, the stars continued from where they left off with Gyan, Jordan and Dede combining well in attack.
One of such attacks was converted into goal with Jordan firing just at the edge of the box. Jordan later closed the Korea chapter with superb connection to an immaculate cross on the right by Adoma.
4-0 it ended for the Stars a perfect victory for a side that has Portugal, Germany and US in her group.
