If you lived or followed the renown era of hip-hop, R&B, reggae, hiplife and the rest, there is only one place to be tonight, Silverstar Tower in Accra.
All is set and ready for the best annual Jam in the country as the DJs for the night are raring to get the party started.
Last year, patrons were treated to tons of classic tunes from 8 pm till late into the night and the story will be the same this year.
This evening, Accra will be at a standstill as the finest disk jockeys in the country, DJ Black, Sammy Forson, and two surprise DJs who will work closely with the MC, Lexis Bill, to keep the party grooving.
Hits songs from Lord Kenya, Deeba, Keteke, Tic Tac, Obrafour, Reggie Rockstone, Sony Achiba, VIP, Terry Bonchaka, Daasebre, Amakye Dede will keep guests dancing all night long.
DMX’s ‘Ruff Ryders’ Anthem’, Heavy D and The Boyz ‘Now That We Found Love’, Lauryn Hill ‘Doo Wop (That Thing)’, The Fugees ‘Ready or Not’ will charge up the venue.
Last year, Ex-Doe reversed the clock to when he ruled the Ghanaian music space with smashed hits like ‘Maba’, ‘Yebre’ and the evergreen ‘Daavi Medekuku’.
Ded Buddy, wowed many with his silky voice in the 90s, proving to many that he was timeless.
After performing his classics,‘Yebesa’ and ‘Akwada Wisua, all present were sent into a love zone.
This year, there will be similar acts to thrill party-goers as they party hard in their combat boots, hoodies, baggy jeans, and bling blings.
Here is an excerpt of the 90s Jam last year:
