After almost a year hiatus, Ghana’s leading radio station, Joy FM, is reintroducing its flagship entertainment news update, Showbiz News Flash, to its cherished listeners.
The daily entertainment news update which originally kicked off in 2022 is scheduled to make a return onto the airwaves on Monday, November 4, 2024.

Prior to its break, Showbiz News flash was offering a concise daily update of occurrences and events in the showbiz and entertainment industry around the world, with major focus on Ghana. Many were kept abreast of trending issues in a minute, at various times within each weekday on Joy 99.7 FM and across its social media handles.
In its much-anticipated return, Showbiz News Flash will maintain its aim of bringing to the doorstep of the public, updates on all the scoop, developments, gossip, drama, thrills and all the craze that matter in Ghana’s entertainment industry and beyond.
It will be presented four times daily – 10:05am, 2:05pm, 4:10pm and 8:05pm – and will be delivered by Kofi Hayford, host of ‘The Overdrive’ on Joy FM and ‘The BMPS Show’ on Joy Prime.
