After three weeks of touring nine regions of Ghana to select the best from each technical school to battle in the culinary world, season 2 of Big Chef Tertiary on Joy Prime is set to be launched on Friday, September 20, 2024.
The auditions were tough as competing groups of all participating schools exhibited their cooking dexterity to be selected for the main contest.
Unfortunately, some failed to impress their lecturers and missed out on the race. However, the selected best among the groups are to represent their schools in the Big Chef Tertiary kitchen.
Nine technical universities, including Dr. Hilla Liman Technical University in Wa, Bolgatanga Technical University, Tamale Technical University, Kumasi Technical University, Koforidua Technical University, Takoradi Technical University, Cape Coast Technical University, Accra Technical University, and the reigning champions, Ho Technical University, are expected to lock ladles to claim the price and the bragging rights as the best in the hospitality field.
The launch is happening live on Joy Prime at 7 p.m. and will be streamed live on YouTube and Facebook. All contestants are gearing up for the unveiling and are enthused about the contest.
Performing live at the event are songstress Lamisi, Leckzy Decomic, and Militant Dance Family. Interested individuals can call or WhatsApp 055 157 5757 to book a seat.
The second edition of Big Chef Tertiary is brought to you by Fortune, introducing a delicious all-purpose margarine and Frytol Cooking Oil. It is sponsored by Hallmark Café, Chefware, Indomie, D33d3w Spices, Kivo Pepper, Enterprise Advantage Points Endpoints, and Get Rewarded and supported by Adansi Travels, Western Serene Atlantic Hotel, Volta Serene Hotel, Miklin Hotels, and Gariba Lodge.
