All work is worthy of recognition, and every instance of hard work deserves to be celebrated.
The flagship morning show on Joy Prime, Prime Morning, is set to transmit live from the Western Naval Command of the Ghana Navy on Wednesday, May Day.
This is in recognition of the efforts of the sector in nation-building as part of this year’s May Day celebration.
The four-hour show will feed viewers with an unforgettable May Day edition on one of the Navy ships at sea, the first of such production in Ghana’s media landscape.
The Director of Public Relations of the Ghana Navy, Naval Captain Andy La-Anyane, who spoke on the show on Monday, shared what motivated the decision to partner with the channel.
“When we received the idea from your outfit, the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu, said we should take this opportunity to sell the Navy, and so we’re happy to have this collaboration.”

Naval Captain La-Anyane further expressed how enthused their team is about hosting the event.
“Honestly, the Navy is very excited that we’re going to have this collaboration with Prime Morning. It’s going to be very exciting, and we want Ghanaians to see the day-to-day activities of the Ghana Navy,” he added.
The Director of Public Relations also mentioned that the Flag Officer Commanding of the service, Commodore E.A. Kwafo, is expected to join the show and elaborate more on the roles and duties of the sector.
The Ghana Navy service protects the maritime territory of Ghana.
Join Prime Morning’s dynamically captivating presenters, Asieduwaa Akumia, KMJ, and Roselyn Felli, will lead the show on the 1st of May from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. as they throw the spotlight on the Ghana Navy from the Western Naval Command in Secondi-Takoradi.
