Joy FM’s flagship programme, the Super Morning Show (SMS), has put smiles on the faces of two of its most devoted listeners as part of a special end-of-year appreciation initiative.
Mrs Sophia Naa-Sooyoo Dodoo, affectionately known as Auntie Naa, and Madam Theresa Quartey, popularly called Auntie Yaa, were randomly selected to receive festive hampers during the SMS broadcast.

Both women are long-time listeners and regular contributors to the show, calling in and texting frequently and engaging actively in discussions that shape the morning’s debates.

Their dedication over many years made them standout choices as the SMS team celebrated its audience while closing out the old year and ushering in 2026.

The hampers were handed over live on air, underscoring the show’s gratitude to listeners who have remained loyal through thick and thin — tuning in each morning, contributing views, and helping deepen the national conversation.

About Joy Super Morning Show
The Super Morning Show is the heartbeat of Joy FM’s daily programming, the kind of platform that has defined public dialogue in Ghana for decades.
A daily morning talk show that blends news analysis, robust debate, expert interviews, and listener engagement, the show has consistently driven impactful conversations on politics, governance, business, and socio-economic issues facing the nation.
Its influence and quality have earned it widespread recognition, including multiple awards such as Best Radio Programme (English) at the 28th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Media Awards and Radio Programme of the Year at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Awards.
By rewarding everyday listeners like Auntie Naa and Auntie Yaa, the Super Morning Show not only acknowledges its audience but also reinforces its role as a community platform where voices are heard and valued, a tradition that has helped cement its place as one of Ghana’s most impactful media programmes.
