The Chairman of the Justice for all Program Justice Clemence Honyenugah is unhappy about what he describes as the demonization of the program.
Justice Honyenugah is particularly worried about allegations that criminals have been released into society to continue terrorizing communities.
The program yesterday discharged four remand prisoners who had spent various years at the Koforidua prisons.
A total of 70 remand cases were heard by four high court judges.
The program which begun in 2008 was intensified last year following JoyNews documentary locked and forgotten.
Justice Honyenuga told Joy News the Chief Justice is committed to ensuring justice for all.
"Anybody who commits an offence is quickly related to the justice for all programm and it is not true.
"This is a very laudable project which is helping all of us and is giving us a very good name," he stated.
He said there was a damning report in 2013 which was written about Ghana's treatment of prisoners and that report was presented before the UN General Assembly.
He indicated the justice for all programme is meant to correct some of these anomalies and to respect the rights and dignities of the prisoners.
"If we do not take that into consideration and we just open our mouths and talk loudly and condemn the programme we should know that we are condemning Ghana," he said.
