The Chairman and Founder of KABAKA Foundation, Nana Owiredu Wadie known in private life as Mr. Richard Nana Kwasi Wadie, has simultaneously commissioned a series of projects undertaken by his social intervention foundation at Kwahu Nkwatia.
At the durbar which took place on October 29, 2021 at their chief’s palace, Nana Owiredu intimated that it is his utmost priority that the developmental needs of the people of Nkwatia are well addressed, thereby extending developments to other parts of Kwahu.
The foundation’s Chairman blessed God and the people for the honour bestowed on him saying, “We thank God very much for everything going on here. Its our deepest and heart felt prayer that everything desirable on your hearts shall come to pass. In that light, we shall see light, we thank God.”

The Deputy Chief Coordinating Director who represented the Chief Executive of the Kwahu East District Assembly at the commissioning of the projects, admonished and recognized KABAKA foundation’s developmental efforts.
He noted that education is the fore focus of development and that with the donations of educational materials provided by the foundation, students’ ability to read would be sharpened.

Meanwhile, the District Director of Education for the Kwahu East also applauded Nana Owiredu Wadie for embarking on developmental spree to renovate the Nkwatia D/A school.
According to him, when the KABAKA foundation reached out to him to reconstruct the school, he doubted its ability to begin within one week as promised, but with the timely intervention they have completed the project for commissioning.
He admonished the other related stakeholders to emulate the posture of KABAKA foundation to help government’s agenda of giving the best of education in the country.
The Director also charged the teachers to be admission-driven to enrol more children into schools.
However the event was climaxed and highly publicized by the Republic Media Group, notably the Republic 97.5 FM at Nkawkaw and the Republic Press in Accra.

It was regarded as one of the most visited events in the Kwahu enclave and this was evidenced when family, friends, loved ones and business associates of the newly crowned Nkosuohene [Development Chief], Nana Owiredu Wadie, besieged the town to witness the coronation of a true son of the Kwahu land.
