A member of the ruling national Democratic Congress (NDC) says he believes the credibility of the contents in the infamous wikileaks.
He said he has every reason to believe that the various issues the cable reported on some Ghanaian politicians are true.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, Kakra Essamoah indicated that he recalls the issue about the 2008 presidential elections especially in the run-off where Nana Addo decided to boycott the Tain elections without the prior knowledge of then President Kufuor.
According to Kakra Essamoah he was once informed about this by a confidant from the NPP that Kufuor got crossed when he was first informed at Wenchi about this decision of Nana Addo a few days to the Tain decider.
Based on this fact. Mr Essamoah said the issues captured in the Diplomatic cable leaks cannot be said to be false and so do all the other revelations by the wikileaks.
Touching on the reports that Nana Addo smokes ‘wee’, Mr. Essamoah indicated that, it is up to Nana Addo and his team to come out clear and admit or deny since it is his image and ambitions that are at stake.
However Mustapha Hamid who is the Spokesperson of Nana Addo defended his boss, stressing that the NPP flagbearer is not on drugs as suggested by Kwesi Pratt in the wikkileaks.
He argued that, the symptoms of wee smoking and cocaine sniffing would have shown on Nana Addo if it was true that he smokes or even sniffs the ‘columbian powder’.
Host of Ekosii, Sen Kwabena Bobie-Ansah inquired from Mustapha Hamid if the NPP flag bearer will sue Owula Mangotey who dares him to do so over the allegation, but the spokesperson who described Mangotey as a parasite revealed that “the NPP and for that matter Nana Addo will not dignify Owula mangotey and his blatant lies”. We will not be the reason for Mangotey’s credibility in the NDC; no we will not do that” Mustapha Hamid asserted.
