Mr Karim Wemah, an engineer and former lecturer of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, is wanted by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) for stealing and causing financial loss to the state.
A statement signed by Ms Evelyn Bekoe, Head of Public Relations, SFO, said the Accra Fast Track High Court has issued a warrant for his arrest.
It said Mr Wemah, a native of Tamale was also a former Deputy Managing Director of Neoplan Ghana Limited and Director of Gbewaa Civil Engineers Limited.
The statement said anyone with information on him should report to the Acting Executive Director of SFO on telephone numbers 021-665559 and 021-667017.
