Police in Kasoa are investigating a robbery case that occurred in the neighborhood early this week.
According to the victim, Adbul Majid, he was asleep in his living room after his Isha prayers when his wife walked in terrified to report that they had been robbed.
The robbers went to the bedroom where the wife was, threatened to kill her if she attempted to raise the alarm, took the items and bolted.
Checks revealed the robbers had taken 6 mobile phones, 4,000 dollars, a laptop, blackberry and a box of jewelry.
Adbul Majid told Joy News the incident has been reported to the Kasoa police.
He said he has lost valuable information stored in his laptop computer but even more painful is the loss of the $4,000.
He said he had gone to change the money to enable his sister perform this year’s Hajj but the money got stolen.
“If somebody can boldly walk into your house, break up everything and enter into your house to rob, I don’t know where we are heading to,” he lamented.
The Kasoa police have confirmed the incident to Joy News. They have however declined comment on the issue but assures investigations are ongoing.
