The Chief Operating Officer of Kempinski Hotels SA (Middle East & Africa), Mr Henk Meyknecht has assured customers of their commitment to deliver the best customer service and hospitality service in the country.

According to him, Kempinski, which has been rated the top luxury hotel in the country, has come to stay and would not relent on its efforts to ensure customer satisfaction.

He made this known at a musical soirée organised for clients and members of the Kempinski management team from Middle East and Africa and also to welcome him to Accra, Ghana as the COO for the Africa Region.

It was an all music night with giants, including Julius Richardson, a music Enthusiast performing classical music and many more performing contemporary music.

Also at the event were traditional rulers who graced the occasion with their entourage in their colourful regalia.

At the Event, the Mr Meyknecht thanked the public, especially its customers for patronising the facility, adding that business had been good in Accra since it commenced.

He also indicated that the hotel had 77 facilities in 62 countries across the globe, adding that management had plans of growing the portfolio of the hotel in some of the African countries including Nigeria, Senegal and Ivory Coast.

The General Manager of Kempinski, Mr Manish Nambiar, also stated that Kempinski was noted for its corporate social responsibilities (CSR) and will continue to embark on more of it to support the Ghanaian Community.

He assured Ghanaians to expect the best of services at the hotel, calling on them to keep supporting the hotel.

For her part, a beneficiary of the CSR of Kempinski, CEO of Project Search Ghana, a CNB Non-governmental organisation initiative for youth with autism spectrum disorders, Cornelia Boateng also thanked Kempinski for giving children with autism the opportunity to explore their talents in the field of work.

She called on other corporate entities to emulate the example of Kempinski by allowing the youth who have autism to work or have an internship at their organisation.

Ms Boateng also called on parents who have children in the same condition to contact the NGO for help.

“Kempinski gave our student an internship opportunity and he is able to work. We are very grateful to them and we call on corporate Ghana to contact us and give our children the opportunity to have their internship,” she added.
