The Black Stars can be confident of a positive result going into their 2019 Africa Cup of Nation qualifier against Kenya because the Harambee Stars are not well-prepared for the encounter on Saturday, September 8.
According to Kenyan journalist Mike Okinyi, the team is in crisis and would be surprised if the Black Stars fail to win convincingly.
He states that head coach Sebastien Migne doesn't have a full squad in camp with barely four days to the game. The French trainer invited 38 players but 21 have reported.
He adds that Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder Victor Wanyama, who is the captain of the team, has been ruled out due to injury while top striker Ayub Timbe is suspended.
Okinyi went further to say that attendance will not be encouraging because fans have no faith in team, coach and local federation following the shock defeat to Sierra Leone.
"One thing that will work for Ghana is not many people will go for that match so Ghana will be almost playing at home," said the Citizen TV journalist.
"Nobody has faith in the Kenya Football Federation. And even the coach himself, the way he spoke in the last press conference, he said we shouldn't expect too much. He said it's his first competitive match in the qualifiers so he is not promising heaven, meaning he has no confidence."
Ghana sits top of Group F after making a great start by thumping Ethiopia 5-0 in Kumasi. They're followed by Siera Leone who play as guest to Ethiopia.
