A Kenyan socialite has cautioned women, especially young ladies, to not give in to any pressure to enhance their bodies.
In a post on Instagram, Vera Sidika revealed that she has had to undergo surgery to remove butts implants because of the health risks and complications that came with it.
She stated that the process was tough on her adding that “this has been the hardest phase in my life.”
“I had to undergo surgery. It’s still very unbelievable but I’ve come to terms with it and learnt to love myself regardless. Ladies, please learn to love yourself and don’t ever let peer pressure rush you into things that will ruin you in future. I’m lucky to be alive, God loves me so much.🥺🙏 Honestly it’s been pretty hard,” Vera Sidika wrote.

The businesswoman noted that she was fortunate and grateful to have the support of her family especially her husband during these tough moments in her life.
She disclosed that she would be sharing her journey and the surgical process with her fans on her social media platform.
Vera Sidika is hoping her experience would help dissuade women from going under the knife to change anything about their bodies.
“I didn’t even celebrate my bday this year, but here we are. Happy birthday to me. New me. I’ve come to appreciate life and never take things for granted.
"Thanks to my family, especially my husband for being there for me. To my fans: I am still the same sweetest Vera Sidika and that hasn’t changed. I appreciate y’all love and support and pray you will walk through this journey with me,” she added.
