Kessben FC suffered their second home defeat in their Onetouch Premeir League when they lost 0-1 to visiting Berekum Arsenal.
Arsenal registered the only goal of the match in the 24th minute through their striker Prince Atakora-Gyimah who intercepted a pass in a counter attack and dummied two defenders before delivering a pile driver that went straight into the net.
Kessben soon after the goal, stepped up their game and made many incursions into the goal area of the visitors with the intention of finding the equalizer but Ransford Osei and Emmanuel Bukarson wasted two glorious chances in the 31st and 42nd minutes to end the first half losers.
The second half began on a vigorous note with Kessben still probing for the equalizer but they found it difficult to penetrate the water tight defence of Arsenal, pivoted around Halifax Afranie, Mutalib Mohammed and Bright Nsiah.
Ransford Opoku-Afriyie made the last attempt at goal for Kessben in the 87th minute but his feeble shot from a goal-mouth melee went wide to end proceedings.
