The Metropolitan Chief Executive for Ketu South Municipality, Pascal Lamptey has assured Aflao residents of their maximum security in the face of a violent armed attack that led to the death of two persons.
In an interview with Joy News' Volta Regional correspondent, Ivy Setordjie, the MCE charged the residents to remain calm whilst the police investigate the matter.
He promised that the perpetrators of the heinous crime would be brought to book in due course.
Two people died when gunmen suspected to be armed robbers opened fire on a family. Three others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
"The incident that happened is rather unfortunate. I want to express my sincere condolences to the bereaved family and also assure the entire public that the security is on top of the situation.
"We believe that very soon those who perpetrated the crime would be brought to book," he stated.
