The Ketu South Municipal Assembly has begun measures to improve sanitation in the area to avert repeated cholera outbreaks.
This follows JoyNews Ivy Setordjie's report three months ago on a huge heap of rubbish in Dekeme and some other parts of the municipality that had become notorious dens for marijuana smokers.
The Municipal Assembly led by the MCE, Pascal Lamptey disclosed that their outfit is paying critical attention to the sanitation situation in the area. He attributed the annual cholera outbreak to improper disposal of waste in the area and encouraged the community to play its role in the venture.
