King Faisal worsened the plight of visiting Sporting Mirren with a 2-1 victory when they clashed in the GLO Premier League 12th Week match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Faisal took the lead in the 46th minute when enterprising Ofosu Micky stretched full length to connect home a cross from Prince Arkoh from the right flank.
After the goal, Faisal who had just resurrected from a poor finishing in the first half probed for more goals but before they could do so, Frank Boateng leveled up the scores in the 61st minute for Mirren when he headed home a cross from Alfred Odoom.
Faisal earned a penalty in the 65th minute when a defender of Mirren handled the ball in a goal mouth melee.
Ofosu Micky made no mistake in scoring the spot to hand over the winner and maximum three points for Faisal and try as Mirren did they could not find the net till the final whistle.
