The CEO of Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KoKMA), Nii Adjei Tawiah has commended the Covid-19 adherence task force within the area for their service before, during and after the Easter holidays.
The taskforce include security agencies, mainly the police and the military, immigration service, KoKMA guards and taskforce were deployed in town, at the beaches, pubs and other restricted areas to enforce the restrictions.
Speaking to the media after the touring to monitor progress of work from Good Friday to Easter Monday, Nii Adjei Tawiah praise the security agencies as well as the general public by ensuring that safety protocols along the our beaches (Osu beach, Independence Square also know as Borla Beach and Mensah Guinea Beach at Arts Centre) and well known pubs within the municipality.
The taskforce has perfectly executed the job they were tasked to, and that had saved the municipality, the region and the Country as a whole from the spread of the virus.
Nii Adjei Tawiah urged Ghanaians to continue to adherence to the safety protocols in order minimised the spread of Covid-19.
Going forward, the Municipal Assembly seeks to keep city guards and the taskforce at various places especially during the weekends and on special occasions or holidays to make sure that the protocols are adhere and also keep sanitation at it best
