Kosta Papic has been confirmed as Hearts of Oak coach, returning for a second stint in charge of the club.
The 60-year-old replaces Edward Nii Odoom, who has been handed the reigns of the youth team.
The Serbian won the Ghana Premier League during his first spell which lasted for a year. The title triumph in 2009 was the last time the Phobians were crowned champions.
Papic arrived in the country last week and was at the Accra Sports Stadium to watch Hearts of Oak lose 1-0 to Inter Allies.
Hearts tried replacing Odoom before the start of the season with the appointment of Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto. The Portuguese resigned after eight days.
Hearts have played two games this season and have just a point, which sees them occupy the last position on the league table.
