Kumasi Asante Kotoko are close to adding to their stock of goalkeepers, with the imminent signing of Burkinabe Suleimana Sulan for the new season.
Sulan who plays for Burkina's top club side ASFA Yenenga is also the first choice goalkeeper for the Burkina Faso national side.
He came to the attention of the Porcupine Warriors during Kotoko's trip to Ouagadougou for a training tour.
Sulan will fight for the goalkeeper's shirt with Black Meteors goalkeeper Eric Nii Baah, Isaac Amoako and Habib Mohammed.
In a related development, one-time Asante Kotoko midfielder Yusif Chibsah has agreed a deal with Danish second division side Randers FC.
If he signs, Chibsah will become the second Ghanaian at the club after his ex-Kotoko team mate, defender Issa Ahmed who joined the Danes a year ago.
However a potential dispute over who is entitled to the transfer fee could scupper the transfer. Whiles the player claims to be a free agent, Kotoko insists it has a valid contract with him which entitles the club to part of the transfer fee. Chibsah didn't play for Kotoko last season after spending a year in Israel.
