Joy Sports is reliably informed that Kumasi Asante Kotoko has rescinded their decision not to play arch rivals Hearts of Oak in an international friendly match in Italy.
Kotoko earlier in the week pulled out of an agreement to play in the match fixed for March 3 as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations citing ill preparedness.
But after a marathon meeting on Wednesday in Cape Coast, the organizers managed to obtain a change of mind to play the match.
Though reasons for Kotoko’s change of mind weren’t given, it was believed that pleas from the Ghanaian community in Italy to Kotoko’s management to save their version of their Golden jubilee Celebrations played a huge role in getting Kotoko back on board.
