Kumasi Asante Kotoko walloped Nigerian customers Wikki Tourists 4:1 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday to advance to the next round of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign. ‘General’ Emmanuel Osei Kufuor set the tone in the 20th minute, with Eric Bekoe (53rd and 64th) and Francis Koufie (69th) completing the rout which saw Kotoko complete the two-leg tie 6:3 on aggregate as the visitors fetched a consolation in the dying minutes of the lopsided affair. The two sides had battled to a two-all game in the first leg in Bauchi, Nigeria, a fortnight earlier.
