Former President John Agyekum Kufuor leaves Accra on Wednesday for Lagos, Nigeria as Guest of Honour at the 5th summit of the Negotiation and Conflict Management Group (NCMG) to be held at Federal Palace Hotel.

The two-day NCMG summit which is held annually with the Nigerian National Judicial Institute (NJI), will this year, be under the broad theme: ‘Political Differences and Electoral Disputes in Africa: Challenges of the Courts and the Promise of ADR.’

According to Frank Agyekum, spokesperson for former President Kufuor, he will speak on: ‘Effective Management of Political Differences and its Impact on Economic Development.’

His speech will touch on the mounting spate of electoral disputes in Africa and the challenges they pose to the administration of justice.
Former President Kufuor will touch on some conflict spots in Africa which have arisen because of electoral disputes and proffer some suggestions to end them.
