Former President, Mr J.A. Kufuor, has stressed the need for Ghanaians to stick together as a people to ensure that the good things, aspirations and expectations from the oil economy are met.In a Christmas and New Year message, Mr Kufuor said, "there is a lot of potential for our country, Ghana and for all of us Ghanaians."The addition of oil resource base makes the economic prospects for this country even brighter," he said.Former President Kufuor called on Ghanaians to be vigilant and transparent in the use of "our God-given resources and talents"."We must endeavour to be one another's keeper and know that governance of a nation is better served if we value the humanity in all of us", the message said:Mr Kufuor wished all Ghanaians a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.Source: Daily Graphic
