The Kumasi Airport will be closed for operations next week Tuesday.
Joy Business has learnt the Airport is been shut down for some repair works to be carried out on the runway.
Managers of the Airport took the decision after a meeting with domestic airline operators Friday.
Sources say the Airport would be re-opened for traffic on Wednesday. The sources added that minor works at the airport would be undertaken at night throughout 2013.
This is the second time this year that the airport is being closed for major repair works.
