The Editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, his siblings and other family members have visited the Jubilee House to thank President Akufo-Addo for his contribution during his mother's funeral.
Gloria Aba Addison, popularly known as 'Sweet Glo', was buried at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens after a pre-burial service was held in her honour at the Community 7 Tema Joint Church.
Madam Aba Addison was the wife of Kofi Baako, a former Information Minister in Kwame Nkrumah’s government.
President Akufo-Addo and his vice, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, as well as some ministers of state were on hand to commiserate with the family.
The family, after the funeral, visited the presidency to show gratitude to the president, his vice and Chief of Staff for his contribution as part of their 'Thank You' visits.
Among the family members was former Electoral Commissioner, Charlotte Osei.
Sweet Gloria as she was affectionately called was also the mother of former Joy FM reporter, Judy Akosua Larbi-Osei.
Mrs Larbi-Osei presented albums of the burial service to the President, Vice-President and the Chief of Staff.
