Labone Senior High School (SHS) has suffered an upset in the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) qualifiers, Tuesday.
Billed as one of the favourites in Day Two of the Greater Accra regional qualifiers, Labone SHS was expected to put up a show.
But Tema-based Our Lady Of Mercy (OLAM) SHS came to the party better prepared; leading the contest from the first round to the last.

Labone SHS’s woes have now been aggravated with a string of poor performances in recent years; with a one-eighth stage elimination in 2019 to then defending champions, Prempeh College.
The Greater Accra Regional championship, meanwhile, comes off on Wednesday at Achimota School.
The regional championship will be between the schools seeded for the 2020 competition and the schools who qualified through the regional qualifiers.
