Creative writer, Prosper Michael Ametu has pleaded with ladies to feel empathy with the young men they are in relationship with, especially when dealing with monetary issues.
According to him, young men are struggling to firmly establish their success and require patience and understanding to achieve their goals.
He said young guys are constantly forced to adapt to certain things in relationships to meet the demands of their girlfriends.
The writer noted this while pointing out some things women need to unlearn from a man’s perspective.
"It is important that people are more empathetic in how they engage with young men and how they particularly structure conversations with them because we’re still struggling to find our path and you need to understand us," he said on Prime Morning.
Additionally, he stated that "young men are going to always have a change of plans because society is not structured in a way where you pick one thing and you go with it throughout. We’re forced to adapt and change."
Since men are forced to adapt to societal change, he believes words of affirmation and proper communication can help them focus.
Also adding his opinion on the topic, pastor and counsellor, Ekow Daniels asked that partners lower their expectations to pave the way for a healthier union.
