The Finance Manager of Lakeside Estates Limited, a subsidiary of Japan Motors Trading Company, Mr Prince-Joseph Kofi Ayiku, has been appointed the Managing Director of the company.
With over 10 years of management experience in estate enterprising, business development, estate financing, marketing and human relations, Mr Ayiku promises to make Lakeside Estates one of the leading real estate companies in Ghana and within the West African sub-region.
He joined the company as the Finance Manager in 2001 and in no time, the company's finances started making significant improvement because of his application of effective financing and marketing principles, thus increasing productivity.
His effective leadership and management skills catapulted him to the position of managing director.
Mr Ayiku holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA), Finance Option, Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce from the University of Ghana, Post-Graduate Diploma from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a list of certificates in Risk Management, Information Management, and Best practices in Financial Accounting, all from the University of Ghana.
He also holds a professional certificate in Project Management from Merjja Technologies, Ontario, Canada, which enhances his construction knowledge.
Since joining Lakeside Estates in 2001, he has changed the direction of the company by enhancing the relations between the company and clients and stakeholders; and harnessing the credible brand of the company, which has further distinguished the organisation in the estate industry.
He led the company to win the Best Recreational Park of the year award in 2011 for the second consecutive time at the Ghana Property Awards.
In 2012, Lakeside Estates won the Best Developer of the Year Award (Low-income category) at the fifth edition of the Ghana Property Awards.
Lakeside Estates, through his leadership and efficient operations, has been built around high standards with robust technologies to improve staff performance and increase customer satisfaction.
