Former President John Dramani Mahama has called upon the Muslim community to demonstrate generosity towards the less fortunate in society, emphasising that it lies at the heart of Islam's essence and the importance of solidarity.
In a message he shared on X on Thursday, April 11, to mark the Eid celebrations, Mr. Mahama underscored the significance of carrying each other along, particularly during times of need.
He urged Muslims to reflect on the lessons of patience, discipline, and empathy that are cultivated during Ramadan, encouraging them to draw inspiration from these virtues in their daily lives.
Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim brothers and sisters, both in Ghana and all around the world.
