Liberty Professionals Director, George Afriyie has described the performance of his outfit as unimpressive after their humiliating 3-0 defeat at home to Hearts of Oak.
The Dansoman side have been poor by their own standards this season winning only four games out of 15.This has been compounded by the fact that they are only two points and a place above the relegation zone
Despite the poor performance of the club in the league, the GFA vice president expects newly appointed coach, Michael Osei, to turn the corner for the club.
“I will not describe our performance as impressive,” He told Asempa Sports.
“If you are occupying 4th from bottom I can’t say that is impressive.”

“I think this season is one of our worse seasons and that explains why we changed the technical direction of the team and I can confidently say Michael Osei is with us for the next two years.
“We believe he can bring some stability to the club and we also hope he can bring the smiles back to the faces of the supporters and the management of the club.”
Liberty will have a reverse fixture against Hearts of Oak in Accra when the league resumes.
